After moving to NYC from overseas, Serge developed an insatiable taste for electronic music as a bystander to DJ acts at the famed Twilo club in the late 1990's. It was in another legendary NYC club of the time, Tunnel, where Serge began his DJ career not long after. Those lucky years, spent in an era of NYC where 12-hour sets reigned supreme, taught Serge the value of programming designed for a dance floor. In 2006, Serge turned his sights on production beginning with his anthemic take on Beloved's "Sweet Harmony" the following year. The track garnered acclaim from the likes of Pete Tong at Radio 1 and was featured on his show, leading to a stellar chart performance and a worldwide smash. Currently working on his 2nd album, set to release in the fall of 2011, Serge Devant continues to tour bringing his hard-hitting, riveting and classically beautiful sound to fans worldwide.
